Preparing for Äänimaisema workshops

Äänimaisema (soundscape) workshops begin tomorrow at Ateneum Museum. We are teaching young schoolchildren (of age 11-12) to make music and visuals with a selected arsenal of iPad applications. We’re using pads such as Kaossilator, Samplr, Animation Creator and Touchviz to let the kids do (mostly improvised) live performances. I have a feeling this is going to be a lot of fun for everyone!

Sandstroem is known for his delicate, primitivist line drawings and light artworks; while these are often abstract, they are always vibrant with emotion.
